Money Saving Tips

Here are some of the ones I have used to date, apologies if they seem obvious. More will be added soon.

-Buy food like pasta or rice in bulk and buy the value brands. There's probably a factory somewhere where one production line of food is packaged into "quality" brand packaging and one line of (identical) food is packaged into "value" brand packaging!

- Buy all books second hand from charity shops or sites like eBay.

-Download music from YouTube using a media converter website to convert it into the MP3 format.

-Search the streets diligently for small change.

- Put your savings into an individual savings account (ISA). This is free from tax and has a reasonably high interest rate.

-You can only save £3600 in an ISA in any one tax year (April to April). If you fill up your ISA save money in an e-savings account.
